Orchard blossoming: The unique apple tree blossom is usually around April.
Marlengo music band: The Marlengo music band represents 150 years of tradition. It is present at any festive celebration and is an important part of the programme for locals and guests alike.
Folk dance group: For many years, folk dancing has been a very important part of Marlengo life. Young men and women take part in the programme during traditional events such as Alpine folk music evenings, harvest festivals etc.
Goaslschnöller Club: The old costum of cracking the whips.
Corpus Cristi: At the Corpus Cristi celebrations, you will see a magnificent procession. The houses along the roads are wonderfully decorated and altars are erected. 'Everywhere the Lord passes must be clean and full of festive decorations'. People are dressed in traditional costumes and the church choir and music band accompany the procession. An expression of religion and tradition.
Mountain fires: In memory of the 'Heart of Jesus' oath, which was taken on 1st June 1796 in Bozen, as a country-wide confession at the religious founding of the country's defence, this tradition has become an old Tyrolean costum during 'Heart of Jesus Sunday' (3rd Sunday after Pentecost). Fires are lit high on the mountains - the so called 'Heart of Jesus' fires.

Grape harvest: The grapes are harvested between the end of September and end of October.
Törggelen: An old autumn tradition about sitting together with a glass of wine, some chestnuts, speck and other local delicacies. This costum with its culinary delights is now on offer all year round.
Harvest Crown: Every year on the 3rd weekend of October, the great grape festival takes place in Merano. Concerts and a large festive parade with wonderfully decorated wagons are the highlights during this autumn holiday period. One of the most beautiful festive wagons is the 'Marlengo Apple Crown' with hundreds of kilos of apples and thousands of cernations. It takes days to complete the decoration of this wagon. After the parade, it can be viewed at the church square in Marlengo for a number of days.
