The Marling irrigation channel road is the longest of its kind in South Tyrol, stretching over 12 kilometres. It begins at the Töll, runs southwards through the slopes and ends in Oberlana. It is interesting to note that this road, has not simply been left open to degenerate with time, like many other similar roads of its kind. It is still in operation today.
