Old parish church
First mentioned in 1166. Building alterations in 1251. Around 1480, the buildings were extended the church tower was rebuilt, with a new low roof after a fire broke out.
Today, one part of the old church is used as a chapel and another as a vestry. It is worth mentioning the 'Annamaria' bell which weighs 3,163 kg and was made in 1847. (The bell rings every Friday at 3 p.m., as well as on festive days.)
Maria Himmelfahrt
The new parish church, was consecrated in 1901. This wew-Gothic place of worship with 3 naves was built according to the plans of the Vienna architect Anton Weber. It is worth seeing the high altar, the mosaic, the side altars, the wooden sculptures and 3 relieves in the altar area. In 2002, the listed pneumatic organ built by Josef Behmann, in 1911, was renovated. The bells inspired Franz Liszt to write his composition 'Bells of Marling'. The parish church has a sister church in Selsley Gloucester, Cotswold Hill, England. The church is regarded as the gem of the burgrave's office.
The local church of 'St. Felix in der Nörder'
This church (first mentioned around 1251) is located just above the road along the irrigation channel. The water in the open well at the Langhausboden is said to have healing powers.
